Working with F.P McCann, Caithness Flagstone Limited were heavily involved in the supply of materials for the redevelopment of the Conway Square and the surrounding area, in Newtownards, Northern Ireland.
Our stone was employed as paving, dished channel drainage, setts as well as granite/Caithness features in the centre of the square.
Natural finish setts featured a variety of weathered and un-weathered stone, giving a mix of both grey and brown colour.
The centre-piece of Conway Square is a eight pointed star, pointing to various landmarks in the area. This consists of white/grey granite slabs with Riven finish Caithness Flagstone inset into the surface. The lettering and highly details images were achieved using our state-of-the-art CNC and waterjet machinery.
